By Plane

Although there are three airports within the Boston area, only Logan International Airport offers direct flight to and from the UK. The airport is one of USA's busiest, handling over 27 million passengers every year.

Getting to Downtown Boston from Logan International Airport:

By Bus

There are numerous bus companies operating direct services from the bus station to various parts of Boston and Massachusetts. The bus station is found just outside Logan International's arrivals at Terminals A and E. Companies recommended by the airport include:

Local Silver Line services operated by MBTA (see www.mbta.com for schedules) also offers direct services to downtown Boston, with pickups/stops available to/from South Station in the heart of the city.

By Car

The airport is well signposted from downtown Boston. Road traffic from downtown Boston, Back Bay and Fenway will predominantly travel to the airport via the Callahan Tunnel. The airport is situated just off the Massachusetts Turnpike on Interstate 90. 

By Taxi

Taxis are ranked up outside each terminal building at Logan International Airport 24 hours a day. There is a starting rate of $2.60 followed by an additional $0.40 for every 1/7 mile thereafter.
