Useful Questions

Why hire a car during your visit?
Each Canadian city provides the gateway to a number of truly magnificent sights, towns and experiences. If you are heading to Canada to one of the ski resorts, a car will get you to the heart of the action and also enable you to visit the pretty towns dotted around each of them. Because Canada is so spread out, car hire will enable you to get the most out of your stay.
How much do flights cost?
Some major airlines fly into key Canadian cities remarkably cheaply. In 2009 returns were offered through companies such as Transat for as little as £270. Flying further west of course tends to up the price somewhat. Casual bookers can expect to pay upwards of £550 for a return journey to major cities.
When’s the best time of year to visit?
That depends on what you are there to do. The ski season begins in December and usually ends in April. Temperature-wise, Canada can be very cold up until April, with temperatures in some cities dipping to freezing point. However, Canada enjoys humid summers with temperatures typically verging on the 30 degree Celsius mark from late April until late August.
