We know that this is a particularly important time of year for Rome, but communities around Europe all have their own traditions and celebrations when it comes to Easter. Did you know that Florence marks the event by exploding a wooden cart? Or that clay pots are smashed in Corfu? Or would you like to witness the torchlight processions in Portugal and Sicily?
