London will celebrate St George’s Day (23rd April) with a series of free events in central London. In Trafalgar Square there will be a celebration of English humour, with classic English comedy, including Monty Python and the Holy Grail, being shown on a large screen. There will be a St George’s Day festival at Convent Garden and a parade at the Cenotaph On the 29th April 2007, Trafalgar Square will celebrate Vaisakhi, the Sikh New Year. Celebrations will include classical music and the best in Asian entertainment All those budding showgirls will enjoy a trip to the Kylie Exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (to 10th June 2007). Keep budding pirates busy this April at the Drama Zone at The Lowry in Salford. Children can join in the fun, making stories about adventures on the high seas. Eureka, the interactive children’s museum in Halifax is holding an Easter Madness event from the 6th - 9th April with an easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter bunny on Sunday.
