Summer holidays in the UK
Wonders will never cease - the Met Office are predicting a hot summer in the UK this year! And if this does materialise, then this little island of ours is the perfect place to spend a family holiday. The only question is where to go – from the rugged Highlands to the north to the sandy bays of Cornwall in the southwest, there is much to explore with a wide variety of different landscapes and attractions. In fact, right on our doorstep is one of the most beautiful countries in the world – so get out and about this summer to enjoy it!
And, rather than drive your own car from one end of the country to the other (plus all the wear and tear that that involves), why not hire a car for your summer jaunt? You could even save time and effort by booking a low cost domestic flight and then pick up a car at the airport. Just think, no worries about servicing your car or taking out breakdown cover – meaning minimal stress and upheaval.
That said, however, we are predicting a shortage of cars both abroad and here at home this summer as reduced car hire fleets struggle to cope with the demand throughout the holiday period, so you're best booking soon to secure your choice of car.
