Blackpool still remains the most visited tourist attraction in Europe where it's uniquely British brand of entertainment continues to bring in millions of visitors every year. Over the Pennines, York, has one of richest histories of any English city with medieval walls, a truly amazing cathedral and world class museums whilst Leeds has developed one of the best shopping centres in the North of England.

Other places which should not to be missed are the University cities of Oxford and Cambridge, the ancient monuments at Stonehenge and the teaming multi-cultural metropolis that is Birmingham.
