A small island nation consisting of an archipelago of seven islands located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, Malta is a tourist delight filled with exciting possibilities. You might want to hire a mountain bike as you head out from village squares on the narrow farmers ' tracks. The villages of Malta are yet another attraction, by the way. Worlds apart from the major resorts and the capital Valetta, the villages are the epitome of Mediterranean life. Here, too, you would love to spend the rest of your life, but unlike the people of the olden times, were sure you wouldn 't want to spill blood over all those wild flowers in order to make Malta your own!
