Officially the sunniest place in the British Isles, Jersey is a romantic rendezvous. Following a recent change in the Jersey Wedding Law now it is possible for non-residents to get married there and enjoy special advantages offered only to honeymooners. The Hotel La Palace, Channel Islands, has built a Wedding Garden, while the Mont de La Rocque Hotel may be conveniently labeled, 'Paradise Found'!

Jersey is a place for individuals in all age groups and with all sorts of interests. It can easily be referred to as a walking or cycling state where the streets and harbor fronts are continually alive with over one hundred and ninety restaurants, cafes and pubs, delivering fresh seafood straight from the sea to your plate. Truly, there's nothing like Jersey when it comes to hospitality.

Beauty abounds here. Visit the Jersey Lavender Farm at St Brelade to get a taste of it. You can also witness Jersey's long tradition of perfume making on this working farm. At the La Mare Vineyards and Distillery built on twenty one acre grounds of St Mary's 18th century granite farmhouse, you will stroll amongst the vines and behold the distiller turning Jersey apples into the island's own Jersey Apple Brandy.

The Jersey Woodturners at St Clement are the last remaining makers of cabbage walking sticks. Another tourist attraction is the Battle of Flowers Museum. The Jersey Craft and Shopping Village is a rather interesting place. Created in and round the rural hamlet at the Living Legend, it boasts one of the widest selection of craft and gifts in the Channel Islands. Try home-made fudge here, or pick up a souvenir. You'd want to come back the next day that's for sure.

Besides the quiet beaches, stunning vistas, and the stimulating nightlife, Jersey also holds some exclusive attractions at particular times of the year: the Battle of Flowers held in August and one of the most spectacular carnivals in Europe; and the International Air Display over St Aubin's Bay in September.
