Copenhagen Airport is one of the favorite airports of travelers everywhere. The principal gateway to Scandinavia and the hub of SAS, the airport also provides a fast route to Malmo and beyond, thanks to the new Oresund Bridge linking Denmark and Sweden.

The airport is located some eight kilometers south east of the city of Copenhagen, and is divided into three terminals. Terminal One serves only domestic flights while Terminals Two and Three are the classy international terminals, home to many a designer store. There are more than forty shops here, including Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, Dunhill and Gucci. Business travelers at the international terminals may also use services provided at the Business centre and choose from fourteen meeting rooms. Additionally, there's a BA Lounge, Servisair facility, and an oversized SAS Lounge.

The new airport Hilton is located directly opposite the departure hall. Voted Best New Business Hotel in Europe by readers of the Business Traveler magazine, it is a perfectly calm and luxurious place for those staying in Copenhagen overnight. For passengers in transit, however, the Copenhagen Airport has rooms with showers to rent. You can even use the sauna, which can be paid for by the hour.

If you're holidaying in Copenhagen you'll be happy to know it is a city of delights.There's much to do and see here, from taking a walking tour through the old city or heading to Tivoli late one evening, to spending a late afternoon at Chritiansborg Palace on Slotsholmen, where Denmark's queen receives guests. You may also want to visit the queen's residence, Amalienborg Palace, another day, timing your visit to see the change of guards. Beyond the palace, you will find the famous statue of The Little Mermaid.

Other tourist attractions include the art treasures of Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, the restaurant and shopping complex named Scala and the seventeenth century Rosenborg Castle.
