The Alps do not lose any of their majesty when the snow is gone and there is much more to Verbier than just wintersports.

Walking
There are over 400 kilometres of well-tended footpaths, allowing visitors to explore the mountains in summertime. Difficulty varies with the path you choose, so be sure to select the right one, then all you need worry about is taking in the stunning view.

Rock Climbing
Climbers of all levels will find a route to challenge them, enhanced by beautiful views of the Rhône Valley. The Pierre Avoi sector has a number of routes and a dramatic setting, while the Val de Bagnes sector - a favourite schooling ground - boasts the pretty villages of Le Bourrot, Le Tsè des Barmes, Les Boutzes du Pleureur and Les Minis Boutzes

Canyoning
Adrenaline-junkies can make their way down steep mountain riverbeds, walking and swimming their way through rock pools and abseiling down mountainsides.

Horse riding
Take guided treks into the mountains on horseback or lessons in an outdoor paddock. This is a great way to enjoy the alpine views.

Golfing
With an 18-hole approach and an 18-hole par 70 golf course, there is plenty of opportunity for golfing enthusiasts to indulge their passion.

Suspension Walk
Have some fun in the tree tops; this is a great one for kids and the young at heart. Ropes are built into the trees at Médran offering you the chance to scramble along monkey-style.
