The fleet guide will tell you the type of car available, the transmission type and whether or not the car has air conditioning. Below this you can see a little information about the car as well as the number of doors and the number of seats the car has. It is important to take into consideration a number of factors when choosing your vehicle, including the number of people you need to carry and how much luggage you may be taking. In hot countries and in the summer it is always advisable to choose a vehicle with air conditioning.

You are able to book extras such as child seats and roof racks if available. These are not available at all locations and should be requested at time of booking if required.

Child Seats
Child seats can be booked with your car hire if required. Always remember the following safety tips when using child seats:

• The seat belt should not be too loose, and should not able to move more than one inch in any direction, always use the tightest fit that is comfortable for the child
• Ensure that you use follow the instructions as to how you should route the seatbelt through the child seat
• Children aged 12 and under should always be buckled up in the back.
• Children should never be placed in a seat for which an airbag is active
• The harness straps and clips should be correctly secured.
• Ensure that the buckle is not resting against the frame of the child seat, as this may cause it to break or snap open
• Ensure that the child is not too small or too large for the seat that they are using
• If there is a lap belt, this should be placed over the pelvic region and not the stomach, and the diagonal strap should rest on the shoulder and not the neck. The belt should never be tucked under the arm or behind the back
• For older children it is advisable to take a booster seat with you if required

Snow Equipment
Also available on request are snow chains, snow tyres and ski racks. These are available at the time of booking, however are not automatically included for rentals in ski resorts, so need to be booked in advance. Please remember that availability may be limited in peak season so you should always book these well in advance!
